UK \u00a0finance minister George Osborne demanded by the EU far reaching reforms, only Britain would remain a member. He railed against high social spending, lack of competitiveness – and warns of the competitors China and India.<\/h1>\n

The British Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne has called on the European Union reforms if they wanted to keep the UK as a member. “Europe is facing a simple choice: reform or decline,” said the Chancellor of the Exchequer. Without cuts, the EU would continue over competitors such as China and India fall behind.<\/p>\n

Osborne spoke at a conference on EU reform , discourage the Tory reformers troupe Fresh Start and the think-tank Open Europe . Osborne is considered a close confidant of British Prime Minister David Cameron.
\nThe Chancellor criticized the EU treaties are not useful because they ignored the fact that some countries wanted a deeper integration than others. Great Britain did not want to face the choice of either joining the euro or leaving the EU.<\/p>\n

Osborne criticized especially in his view, lack of competitiveness of Europe and its high social spending. Europe provide only seven percent of the world’s population but 50 percent of global welfare issues . “The biggest economic risk , which Europe faces comes not from those who demand reforms and new negotiations ,” he said , according to a speech manuscript , ” but by the lack of reforms and new negotiations. ”<\/p>\n

Europe had more be forfeited after the financial and debt crisis of competitiveness. “So it can not go on ,” Osborne said in reference to a campaign slogan of his Tory party .<\/p>\n

The British government wants to curtail access to benefits for EU citizens in European countries continues .
