\u00d6zhan Canayd\u0131n, the ex Galatasaray chairman is in critical condition.<\/h1>\n

Galatasaray’s previous chairman, \u00d6zhan Canayd\u0131n who has pancreas cancer, is in critical condition at the Bursa Ac\u0131badem hospital.<\/h2>\n

Earlier in the day Turkish media had announced that Canayd\u0131n had died.<\/p>\n

There were no press conference organised by the hospital but the hospitals General Director, Arzu Karata\u015f said “Canayd\u0131n is still being treated for pancreas cancer but his condition remains critical, he is still alive.”<\/p>\n

\u00d6zhan Canayd\u0131n, was not a very successfull chairman but still managed to get respect from the Turkish football community for his gentleman like behaviour he was so famous for.<\/p>\n

One of his most remembered action was when he applaud every goal that Galatasaray conceded in the 6-0 hammering by fierce rivals Fenerbahce.<\/p>\n

Galatasaray’s official site wrote “Recently there have been rumors in the media concerning the health of our clubs previous chairman \u00d6zhan Canayd\u0131n.
