Several measures have been taken to boost the export of textile and clothing of India\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMarket Linked Focus Product Scheme (MLFPS) has been extended till 31st March 2014 for export to USA and EU in respect of items falling in Chapter 61 and Chapter 62 (textiles and clothing),\u201d the minister said.<\/p>\n<h3>\u2018Garment exports expected to achieve its target\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>She said despite the global slowdown, garment export industry is performing good and is expected to achieve its target of USD 17000 million set for the current financial year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGood results are expected in the next financial year also,\u201d she further said.<\/p>\n<p>The Indian minister said \u00a0Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Pakistan, Asian Group of Countries, Philippines have been added to the list of countries for export of Woven Cotton Fabrics under Market Linked Focus Product Scheme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c27 EU countries have been added in the list for export of Gloves, Mittens and Mitts of Cotton filled with cotton fibre under MLFPS.
