Bellow is the reviews and predictions of this weeks American Idol Top 10 show.

Michael Lynche – Big Mike sang an India Arie song, ‘Ready For Love’ and it was, how can I say? Just beautiful. He gave me goosebumps on the song he sang with his beloved guitar. This guy has been so consistent and is one of the favorites to win the competition for me. Randy said “I am happy that you back to a beautiful, sensitive song”. Simon said “I can now take you seriously, as an artist”. Ryan Seacrest asked Usher “what would you have said if you were a judge”. Usher replied “You did it, you connected, I loved it man”.

Didi Benamii – Didi sang ‘What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted’ by Jimmy Ruffin and had an off-key performance which was deemed poor by all the judges. She carried on her inconsistent performance but she has been poor for the past two weeks and I fear Didi might be going home tonight though I believe Tim should. Randy said “the performance was flatlined and never really moved It just wasn’t great”. Kara went one step ahead of Randy by saying she “lost her vision since hollywood week” as the performance was overdone. I believe if Didi was to be nominated off on tonight’s show, the judges just might decide to save her with the judges save option.

Casey James – Casey sang ‘Hold On, I’m Coming’ by Sam & Dave and it was another brilliant performance which I believe Kara had a direct influence on as her comments from last week must have been ringing in his ears. Randy said “This was another hot night for you, You stayed in your element, showed your vocal range, perfect choice!”. While Simon said “it was your strongest week so far, you really impressed”.

Tim Urban – Tim sang ‘Sweet Love’ by Anita Baker and as usual he was just not init from the start. Simon who we’re so used to speaking harshly lived up to his name but I have to say I agreed with him the whole time when he said “A completely inappropriate song. It’s like a mouse picking a fight with an elephant, you’re not going to win,” Simon even had the check to say “It doesn’t matter because you’re going to smile, the audience is going to vote for you, you’ll be here next week, so well done”. Simon got it spot on as I have been saying for several weeks now, Tim is only in this for his looks and I believe it was totally unfair to some of the contestants that were voted off rather then he was. Randy said “you were like a singing waiter” which for me is sort of an understatement. Before anyone say’s anything I would like to point something out. “This is not personal”. I do not like guy because I have a personal grudge but because he genuinely cannot sing well compared to the other contestants.

High performers Andrew Garcia, Lee DeWyze, Michael Lynche aka Big Mike - Image by : Winter/Getty

Andrew Garcia – “Andrew is back!” shouted Randy after Andrew’s version of Chris Brown’s ‘Forever’ and indeed it was his best performance since his unforgettable acoustic version of Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up”. I predicted last week that this would be Andrew’s week as soon as I heard it was soul/R&B week as I have heard Andrew’s songs on YouTube from before he was on American Idol and he was great. Usher gave Andrew a great helping-hand when he took off his shades to say “look at my eye’s” as Andrew had closed his due to his nerves. Kara said Nothing makes me happier than to say that is one giant leap in the right direction, I’m going to leave it at that”.

Siobhan Magnus – Siobhan sang a Chaka Khan’s ‘Through The Fire’ and was at times hard to understand with her unique version. Randy said “You have a big voice but the song couldn’t catch on with the pitch”. While Kara said “you got a little nervous, It just didn’t work”

Katie Stevens – Katie’s performance of “Chain Of Fools” by Aretha Franklin was “pretty good” according to Simon and was liked all around by the judges. User had given her some words of encouragment when he said she needs to put more attittude into her stage performance which kinda worked but was also described by Simon as “Robotic and cold”. The 17-year-old’s voice came across as much older with her voice going very well with R&B songs as Kara said “R&B/pop is where you belong”.

Lee Dewyze – Lee song The Cornelius Brothers “Treat Her Like A Lady” was a real crowd pleaser as much of the audience were clapping and cheering for the 23-year-old singer songwriter from Illinois. His fast paste version of the song was liked by all the judges and was one of the best performances of the night. Simon Cowell’s comments put Lee on a high when he said “Go home tonight and watch tonight’s episode as it could be the moment that changed your life”. It was for sure his best performance in weeks.

Crystal Bowersox – Crystal sang Gladys Knight & The Pips ‘Midnight Train To Georgia’ and as usual she impressed with her performance. What made last night more special was that she played part of the song on the piano which was advice that Mentor Usher gave to her during their session together. Her performance was a little nourvy due to her playing the piano I believe and it showed, as I believe her previous performances were much better, sorry piano lovers. Randy said “ yo yo, so I Loved the outfit, I am currently working with Gladys Knight and I think she would be proud.” İn which Cyrstal replied “say I said hi to Gladys”. Ellen gave her the best comments of the day when she said “You’re never not good, you’re always great,” but Simon Cowel thought her vocals were great at times but the “backing vocalists made it old fashioned”.

Aaron Kelly – Aaron sang a Bill Withers song “Ain’t No Sunshine” which has been a popular song choice between the American Idol contests throughout the years. This fact kind of made it a bad song choice in my opinion as he had more people that he will be compared with. Any way the judges thought it was an ok performance by the 16-year-old with Ellen saying “good song choice” (I don’t agree) while she admired his confidence considering his age.

Leave your comments bellow to who you think will be sent home tonight

Error, group does not exist!
