Jellyfish attacked to\u00a0British Prime Minister David Cameron\u00a0on holiday in Spain.<\/h1>\n

UK PM David Cameron was the victim of a jellyfish attack while on easter holiday with his family in Lanzarote yesterday.\u00a0 According to a source close to the PM it was a \u201cpretty minor sting and did not require treatment\u201d.<\/p>\n

However, the Conservative Party \u00a0leader still ran out of the water shouting \u201cOuch! Ouch! Ouch!\u201d before recovering his composure and making sure his children also left the waves.<\/p>\n

Witness Ex-pat Wendy Lambert, 59, said Cameron, 47, was warned by one of her pals about the dangerously high number of jellies in the water.<\/p>\n

“But he decided to get back in, then suddenly he came out shouting in pain after getting stung,”<\/p>\n

British Prime Minister Cameron had been warned that there were \u201cloads of jellies down there\u201d and this caution had initially made him wary of entering the water.\u00a0 However, as a keen swimmer, the MP for Witney \u2013 where he is patron of the Chipping Norton outdoor lido \u2013 overcame his trepidation and launched into the sea, only to exit moments later clutching his arm.<\/p>\n

Downing Street sources confirmed to The Sun that Cameron had been stung, but said he had not required treatment – urine-soaked or otherwise.<\/p>\n

The jellyfish is likely to be \u201cquite small, but with very long tentacles\u201d according to a local expat, as this type is common near the popular Arrieta beach in Lanzarote.<\/p>\n
