Netherlands national manager Louis van Gaal’s appointment as Manchester United manager will be made next week.<\/p>\n

United \u00a0have settled on the 62-year-old Dutchman as the successor to David Moyes but will not make a formal announcement until after the end of the Barclays Premier League season.<\/p>\n

Louis Van Gaal will sign a three-year contract with United worth \u00a325m and will bring his own coaching staff to the club, although current interim boss Ryan Giggs will be retained in a coaching role<\/p>\n

Ryan Giggs will remain Manchester United’s interim manager for their final game, against Southampton on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Ryan Giggs must then negotiate his own future at the club, which could involve remaining as a player, coach, or both, or leaving to pursue his managerial career elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Louis Van Gaal is coach of the Dutch national team, who he will take to the World Cup 2014 \u00a0before officially taking over at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The Dutchman was last involved in club management with Bayern Munich from 2009 to 2011, but his tenure was ended when he was sacked by the German side.<\/p>\n
