{"id":5174,"date":"2010-04-10T13:00:19","date_gmt":"2010-04-10T10:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/?p=5174"},"modified":"2010-04-10T13:15:41","modified_gmt":"2010-04-10T10:15:41","slug":"hijacked-turkish-cargo-ship-released-by-pirates-in-indian-ocean-86755174","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/hijacked-turkish-cargo-ship-released-by-pirates-in-indian-ocean-86755174\/","title":{"rendered":"Hijacked Turkish cargo ship released by Pirates in Indian Ocean"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"font-size: 2em;\">The Turkish owned cargo ship which was hijacked by Somalian pirates has been released.<\/h1>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5179\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5179\" style=\"width: 280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5179\" title=\"MV Yasin c hijacked-nationalturk\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/MV-Yasin-c-hijacked-nationalturk.jpg\" alt=\"MV Yasin-C which has been released by the Somalian pirates \" width=\"280\" height=\"192\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5179\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">MV Yasin-C which has been released by the Somalian pirates <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>The Turkey flagged \u201cMV YASIN-C\u201d which was hijacked on 7th April has been released as the Somalian pirates left the \u00a036,300-ton bulk carrier.<\/h2>\n<p>The cargo ship had been hijacked in the Indian Ocean just on top of East \u00a0Kenya \u00a0while\u00a0transferring\u00a0bulk wheat from Turkey&#8217;s black sea region to Kenya.<\/p>\n<p>Officials from the Bergen Denizcilik Filo group which the Bulk carrier belongs to said on Saturday &#8220;the crew of the MV YASIN-C which was hijacked from the Indian Ocean has been released&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There are no reported injuries amongst the 25 crew members all of Turkish nationality.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The captain of the ship has confirmed that the Pirates have abandoned the ship,&#8221; said Fatih Kabal an official from the Bergen Denizcilik Filo group.<\/p>\n<p>He carried on to say &#8220;The crew have enough food and drink until they arrive at the Mombasa port which they are close to, they noticed a day later that the hijackers had left the ship, due to the attack by the pirates there are huge damages to the ship but I can confirm that no crew member is injured.&#8221;<\/p>\n<span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #f00;\">Error, group does not exist!
