Indian Railways is on course to fulfill its long cherished dream. I propose a bullet train on the Ahmedabad- Mumbai sector,&#8221; Gowda said while presenting the rightwing BJP government&#8217;s first railway budget in Indian Parliament today.<\/p>\n<p>He said Indian Railways is on its way to fulfill the long cherished dream to run a bullet train. \u201cA number of studies have been conducted to start bullet trains in the country\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2>\u2018Diamond Quadrilateral Network of High Speed Rail\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cIndian Railways is embarking on an ambitious plan to have a Diamond Quadrilateral Network of High Speed Rail, connecting major Metros and growth centers of the country.
