Real Madrid improved his bid for World Cup top scorer James Rodr\u00edguez\u00a0golden shoe star today become another Los Galactico.<\/h1>\n

The star of the World Cup, Colombian \u00a0James Rodriguez, will sign for Real Madrid this Wednesday for \u00a360million in a transfer that will push several players towards the Premier League.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rodriguez was in Spain on Sunday on his way back from Colombia to Monaco, where he will say his goodbye to the club this week before returning to the Spanish capital to sign a new six-year deal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been away on business in South America but returns this week to ensure that once again the European champions’ summer spending goes beyond the \u00a380m mark \u2013 adding Rodriguez\u2019s name to the \u00a320m capture of Bayern Munich\u2019s Toni Kroos last week.<\/span><\/p>\n

French newspaper\u00a0L’Equipe\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0said on Saturday night that Monaco would accept a \u20ac90m offer from Los Blancos for the 22-year-old who took the World Cup by storm.<\/p>\n

They reported that a deal could be completed by Monday, while Spanish paper\u00a0AS<\/em>\u00a0last week said Rodriguez and the defending European champions had already verbally agreed terms.<\/p>\n\n
