You remember the victims of the First World War.<\/h1>\n<p>An art project at the Tower of London recalls in the coming months to soldiers who died in the First World War. The installation by the artist Paul Cummins is called &#8220;Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red &#8216;.<\/p>\n<p>The artwork consists of exactly 888 246 poppies ceramic. It is inspired by a line that Cummins found in the will of an unidentified British soldier who died in battle in Flanders. It told the artist the &#8220;Guardian&#8221;. The last flower is added on November 11 &#8211; the day in 1918 the armistice was signed, ending the war.<\/p>\n<p>Volunteers put the flowers in the dry moat of the Tower of London. After 11 November, they are sold for 25 pounds a piece.
