Armando Diego Maradona has been filmed slapping a journalist who allegedly winked at his ex-girlfriend Veronica Ojeda.(Video)<\/h1>\n

The 53-year-old all times football superstar angrily confronted the reporter as his children watched from his car.<\/p>\n

He called the man an “idiot” before slapping him in the face.<\/p>\n

The cameras then show the former Argentinian football idol getting back in his car before driving off.<\/p>\n

It has been reported the journalist winked at the mother of Maradona’s son \u00a0his ex-girlfriend Veronica Ojeda.<\/p>\n

The family had been celebrating Children’s Day at an event in Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n

Diego Maradona has courted controversy throughout his career.<\/p>\n

He used his other hand to score a goal that helped knock England out of the 1986 World Cup.<\/p>\n

Eight years later he was sent home from the World Cup in USA after failing a drugs test.<\/p>\n

In 1998 he was given a suspended sentence for shooting journalists with an air rifle.<\/p>\n

Maradona has also made headlines for cocaine and alcohol abuse.<\/p>\n
