\"\"<\/a>Turkish football giants Galatasaray announced on Monday that they appointed Hamza Hamzaoglu as their new manager.<\/h1>\n

According to their official Twitter account and website, 44-year old Hamza Hamzaoglu inked the official deal withGalatasaray at the Istanbulite club’s premises on Monday.<\/p>\n

“We will do our best to succeed. I don’t feel any pressure. Now we are leading the league. I congratulate the team and former technical staff,” Hamzaoglu said.<\/p>\n

” Galatasaray was always in my mind. I will try to do my best here and I am sure that the fever of Galatasaray in our hearts will heat up again,” the Turkish manager added.<\/p>\n

He also praised Galatasaray’s Dutch star Wesley Sneijder by remarking, “Sneijder is one of the valuable members of the squad.”<\/p>\n

Hamzaoglu played for Galatasaray from 1991 to 1995 as a midfielder.<\/p>\n

The newly appointed manager promoted his former team, Akhisar Belediyespor, to Turkey’s top football division “the Spor Toto Super League” for the first time in the club’s history in 2012.<\/p>\n
