{"id":56505,"date":"2015-01-21T11:43:15","date_gmt":"2015-01-21T09:43:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/?p=56505"},"modified":"2024-02-15T17:08:08","modified_gmt":"2024-02-15T14:08:08","slug":"atletico-madrids-chinese-partner-lauds-arda-turan-56505","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/atletico-madrids-chinese-partner-lauds-arda-turan-56505\/","title":{"rendered":"Atletico Madrid&#8217;s Chinese partner &#8216;Lauds Arda Turan&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid&#8217;s new partner from China, Wang Jianlin, had declared himself a fan of the team&#8217;s Turkish star Arda Turan, according to Spanish media.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Spanish newspaper &#8220;El Mundo&#8221; said Wang Jianlin had been asked who his favourite player was, and answered; &#8220;Arda Turan&#8221; without hesitation.<\/p>\n<p>Wang is the third-richest businessman in China, according to Forbes magazine, with assets worth \u20ac11.3 billion ($13 billion).<\/p>\n<p>Having purchased 20 percent of the Spanish club&#8217;s shares, Wang is reported to be ready to invest about \u20ac45 million.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Atletico board members said: &#8220;It took two years to persuade Jianlin, but it was worth it.
