{"id":6212,"date":"2010-05-14T17:17:38","date_gmt":"2010-05-14T14:17:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/?p=6212"},"modified":"2010-05-15T20:35:21","modified_gmt":"2010-05-15T17:35:21","slug":"4-soldiers-injured-in-indian-kashmir-explosion-43624564","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/4-soldiers-injured-in-indian-kashmir-explosion-43624564\/","title":{"rendered":"4 soldiers injured in Kashmir, India explosion"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"font-size: 2em;\">Srinagar, May 14: Three Indian paramilitary soldiers and a policeman were among five persons injured in a powerful grenade explosion in India occupied Kashmir on Friday.<\/h1>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-6213\" title=\"indian soldiers\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/indian-soldiers-280x189.jpg\" alt=\"indian soldiers\" width=\"280\" height=\"189\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/indian-soldiers-280x189.jpg 280w, https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/indian-soldiers-531x360.jpg 531w, https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/indian-soldiers.jpg 827w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/>A spokesman of paramilitary CRPF, Prabhakar Tripathi said the grenade blast took place when clashes were going on between youth and soldiers in old city areas.<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cYouth were pelting stones towards police and paramilitary soldiers at Saraf-Kadal, some 5 kms from summer capital of Indian Kashmir on Friday afternoon. All of a sudden, somebody from the crowd lobbed a grenade towards the soldiers. The grenade exploded with a big bang causing injuries to three paramilitary soldiers, a policeman and a civilian,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the injured persons were hospitalized. \u201cThe paramilitary soldiers had sustained minor injuries and their condition is stable,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Immediately after the explosion, police and paramilitary soldiers laid siege around the area to flush out the militants responsible for the attack. No arrests were, however, reported.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, no militant group has owned the responsibility of the attack.<\/p>\n<p>Indian Kashmir has been witnessing militancy violence since 1989 after youth took to guns to fight Indian rule.<\/p>\n<p>According to government figures more than 40,000 people have died in over two decades of violence in the region while the separatists fighting Indian rule say more than one lakh people have died in the turmoil so far.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leave your thoughts and comments bellow<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>National Turk \/ India  \u2013 Faiz Ahmad<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #f00;\">Error, group does not exist!
