The artist who lives in the South of Sweden was not at home during the attack which occurred on late Friday night police have said.<\/p>\n
Police was called to the artist home in the afternoon when passersby became suspicious as the windows of the house were smashed and there was damage caused by fire.<\/p>\n
It has been reported that police found gasoline in bottles which were thought have been used in trying to cause a fire in the house.<\/p>\n
Small areas of fire were found in the house which is thought to have gone out on its own.<\/p>\n
Vilks who was attacked during a lecture on free speech at the Stockholm Uppsala University by Muslim students had said he was unfazed and would like to give another lecture on the matter of free speech.<\/p>\n
The Swedish artist who is known to joke about the threats he has received since 2007, including from al-Qaida.<\/p>\n
Just last month, comedy central had edited a South Park episode which depicted Prophet Muhammad in a bear suit after threats were received.<\/p>\n
