Aliyev stated that, in accordance with the basic principles of the UNSC decisions, first 5 and then 2 more regions should be saved.<\/p>\n
Aliyev said, \u201cWe saved 4 regions unilaterally. For this reason, Pashinyan should announce that the soldiers in Aghdam, Kelbajar and Lachin regions, which are still under occupation, will withdraw, but he does not make such a statement. “This shows that he does not want the war to end,” he said.<\/p>\n
Pashinyan had previously told Al Arabiya television that Yerevan was ready to negotiate for the solution of the crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, but Baku did not compromise.<\/p>\n
The conflicts in Nagorno-Karabakh, which had been waiting for a solution for many years, flared up again on 27 September. Nagorno-Karabakh, officially part of Azerbaijan, is de facto under the control of Armenian forces.<\/p>\n
