{"id":67005,"date":"2022-02-09T19:55:07","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T19:55:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/?p=67005"},"modified":"2022-02-09T19:55:08","modified_gmt":"2022-02-09T19:55:08","slug":"halil-falyali-dies-following-shooting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/halil-falyali-dies-following-shooting\/","title":{"rendered":"Halil Falyali dies following shooting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Turkish Cypriot Businessman Halil&nbsp;Falyali has died following an shooting outside of his home in North Cyprus.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Falyali was said to be on his way home in \u00c7atalk\u00f6y, Grine when his car was ambushed and attacked outside of his residence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His driver Murat Demirta\u015f was pronounced dead at the scene,&nbsp;Falyali &nbsp;was said to be in a critical condition, &nbsp;he was initially take to Girne Ak\u00e7i\u00e7ek Hospital, then transferred to Dr Burhan Nalbanto\u011flu State Hospital in Lefkosa and finally to Near East University Private Hospital where it was announced he had passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The attack took place around 7.45pm (local time)Falyali\u2019s wife and three children were said to be in the vehicle&nbsp;&nbsp;behind then the attack took place.
