Reality star Kim Kardashian says she wasn’t expecting a new relationship after her divorce from rapper Kanye West. \u201cI think sometimes things happen when you least expect them. It was the last thing I really planned,” the 41-year-old said on the Making Space podcast about her relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, 13 years her junior<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both had made their love public in March. After separating from West, 44, who only calls himself Ye after a name change last year, she took ten months to herself. “I just wanted to use this time to find out if I made the right decision,” said the reality star (“Keeping Up With the Kardashians”). Only then was she ready to meet someone again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is now enjoying keeping some aspects of her new relationship private. “It feels good to know that we have this connection and our little bubble of a relationship world that we live in that not many people know about,” Kardashian said. She is grateful that she can also do everyday errands and appointments such as doctor visits together with Davidson. She was “having so much fun,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021 after seven years of marriage. The two have four children together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The couple had dealt with the new situation differently in public. While West has repeatedly announced that he hopes for a relationship comeback with Kardashian (“I have to be back home”), the 41-year-old has largely held back. Advances from her ex-husband left her unanswered.
