More than 25 people have been arrested in the violent riots that broke out in the Swedish city of Norrk\u00f6ping on Sunday. The rioters attacked officers, police confirmed.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the evening it was announced that three people were hit by ricocheted police bullets during the riots. The bullets were fired as warning shots, police said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also restless in the city of Malm\u00f6 on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bus caught fire, among other things, after unknown perpetrators threw a burning object at the vehicle. The passengers were able to escape from the vehicle before anyone was injured. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The website of the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet shows photos of cars set on fire Sunday evening in the Roseng\u00e5rd district of Malm\u00f6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have been disturbances in Sweden for four days in a row. Each time, a meeting organized by the Danish right-wing extremist Rasmus Paludan is the reason. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At those meetings he wanted to burn a Quran. It led to riots not only in Malm\u00f6 and Norrk\u00f6ping, but also in \u00d6rebro, Link\u00f6ping and Landskrona, mainly causing material damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far, only Thursday in Malm\u00f6 has there actually been a Koran burning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 20 arrested – police are looking for films<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A total of 26 people have been arrested after yesterday’s riot in \u00d6sterg\u00f6tland. More people may be suspected as extensive material from the events is reviewed, according to the police, who are also calling for more films and pictures from the riots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Norrk\u00f6ping, eight people arrested on suspicion of violent rioting are in the Navestad district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“More people will certainly be prosecuted when the extensive material from the police reports and technical material has been reviewed,” the police write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extensive damage has occurred in Navestad according to the police, who, however, currently lack a complete compilation of how many cars were burned and windows shattered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Link\u00f6ping, 18 people have been arrested for the same classification, and even there the police assume that more criminal suspicions and suspects will be added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The violence in \u00d6sterg\u00f6tland during Easter Day followed right-wing extremist Rasmus Paludan’s meetings and Koran burning in various places in Sweden in recent days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Navestad district in Norrk\u00f6ping, several cars were set on fire and the police fired several warning shots. 100-150 people must have participated in the riots. The police fired several warning shots and three people were hit by police bullets, without serious injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also want as much film and pictures as possible to enable the prosecution of those who in the last day have committed in many cases serious crimes,” says Jonas Hysing, Commander-in-Chief for the national special event Elections, in a comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone who has material to share is asked to upload it on the police website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The planned visits for Rasmus Paludan in Link\u00f6ping and Norrk\u00f6ping on Thursday were canceled due to the violent riots that broke out.
