Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri recently confirmed that the company is testing a new, full-screen, scrollable, immersive feed that closely resembles TikTok&#8217;s For You Page. Social media expert Matt Navarra has now shared on Twitter that Instagram is also currently exploring the possibility of uploading full-screen images from 9:16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the screenshot, when asked if Instagram is currently testing 9:16 images, Mosseri responds with &#8220;This is something we&#8217;re currently exploring.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instagram relies more and more on \u201cvertical storytelling\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With the 9:16 format for image posts, the social app would push its Reels offensive even more and resemble the competing app TikTok even more. Instagram recently announced that it is even testing a following tab for reels &#8211; a feature that reflects the TikTok app experience. The adjustment of Instagram to TikTok is thus continuing.
