{"id":7098,"date":"2010-06-22T13:16:24","date_gmt":"2010-06-22T10:16:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/?p=7098"},"modified":"2010-06-22T13:16:24","modified_gmt":"2010-06-22T10:16:24","slug":"road-side-bomb-explodes-while-military-bus-passes-by-in-turkey-87654646","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/road-side-bomb-explodes-while-military-bus-passes-by-in-turkey-87654646\/","title":{"rendered":"Road side bomb explodes while military bus passes by in Turkey"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"font-size: 1.5em;\">A road side bomb which exploded while a bus with Turkish military passengers was passing has killed at least four people and injured 12 in the early morning hours of Tuesday.<\/h1>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-7100\" title=\"road side bomb\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/road-side-bomb-280x143.jpg\" alt=\"road side bomb\" width=\"280\" height=\"143\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/road-side-bomb-280x143.jpg 280w, https:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/road-side-bomb.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/>The civilian bus which was carrying the Turkish military passengers was targeted close to a military housing complex in the Halkal\u0131 district of Istanbul, Turkey.<\/h2>\n<p>Initial reports from officials confirm that at least three Turkish soldiers and the daughter of an army officer were killed in the attack.<\/p>\n<p>12 others were also injured one being in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p>The identities of the dead soldiers have also been released. Turkish Gendarmerie Sergeants \u00c7a\u011flar B\u00f6l\u00fck, U\u011fur Ekir, Gendarmerie senior sergeants Bekir \u00c7elik and Buse Sar\u0131ya\u011f the 17-year-old daughter of an army officer.<\/p>\n<p>Istanbul governor, H\u00fcseyin Avni Mutlu who spoke to the media after the attack said that the bomb was exploded via a remote control.<\/p>\n<p>Security officers have started an investigation to find the perpetrators of the attack.<\/p>\n<p>No organization has of yet took responsibility of the attack but it is widely thought to be the PKK terrorist organization that was behind the attack.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday\u2019s attack was the last of many insurgent attacks by the PKK terrorist group who have increased since March.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Write your comments and thoughts bellow.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #f00;\">Error, group does not exist!
