However, his age is not preventing him from taking part in the Sailing World Championships in Switzerland at the end of July. A spokesman for the Norwegian royal family confirmed on Thursday the German Press Agency that he was the skipper on the boat &#8220;Sira&#8221; together with six other people on the list of participants in the World Cup in the eight-meter class.<\/p>\n<p>The king is in good shape. &#8220;He trains with the crew,&#8221; the spokesman continued. Harald V. is a passionate sailor and, according to the royal family, competed in a sailing competition for the first time at the age of ten.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, however, the Norwegian monarch had repeatedly had problems with his health. A year and a half ago he had to have an operation on his leg. In March 2022, the nobleman then became infected with the corona virus.
