Srinagar, June 22: Describing the present situation in Indian Kashmir as gloomy, the chief minister of the region Omar Abdullah has admitted that presence of Indian soldiers and their bunkers spark trouble.<\/h1>\n

\"\"On Sunday Indian paramilitary soldiers fired at angry mob, who were protesting against the death of a youth Mohammad Rafiq Bangroo in paramilitary soldiers\u2019 beating. A 19-year old youth Javaid Ahmad Shalla died in the paramilitary soldiers firing.<\/h2>\n

There has been anger against police and paramilitary soldiers for firing tear smoke shells and bullets towards the protestors.<\/p>\n

At least seven youth have died in police and paramilitary soldiers firing and shelling in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian Kashmir since January this year.<\/p>\n

The chief minister of region, Omar Abdullah has for the first time admitted that presence of paramilitary soldiers and their bunkers spark trouble. \u201cWe have taken serious note of use of excessive force by paramilitary soldiers against the protestors.<\/p>\n

We have taken up these issues with paramilitary\u2019s top brass and the issue will be sorted out soon,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would have loved to send the paramilitary soldiers back to their barracks but conditions are not allowing us to do so,\u201d added Omar.<\/p>\n

Terming the present situation in Srinagar as gloomy, the chief minister said the government is committed to uphold human rights but aberrations do take place sometimes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are facing difficulties but the process of restoring peace and tranquility is moving on. The law and order problem in some parts of Srinagar city does not mean that entire Kashmir is disturbed\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n
