Hugs to his mother, Aleida, his widow and daughters and the whole family Guevara March,&#8221; Diaz-Canel wrote in a message through his account on the social network Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018 he participated in the exhibition &#8216;Che Fotografo&#8217; in Argentina, with images from the Havana-based center that he himself has directed.<\/p>\n<p>According to the digital media Uppers, Camilo Guevara had a relationship with Suyl\u00e9n Milan\u00e9s, recently deceased, and with whom he had a daughter, Camila.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tGWbBAbeHDk\" title=\"Morre Camilo Guevara March, filho de Che Guevara | AFP\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Camilo Guevara March, son of revolutionary leader Ernesto &#8220;Che&#8221; Guevara and director of a center dedicated to studying him, has died at the age of 60, Cuban officials reported Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The official Prensa Latina news agency said he died during a visit to Caracas, Venezuela, of &#8220;pulmonary thrombosis that led to a heart attack.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He was the third of four children of Aleida March and Che Guevara, the Argentine doctor who became a legendary figure who fought alongside Fidel Castro during the Cuban revolution, and later led rebel gangs in other nations.<\/p>\n<p>Along with his mother, he was director of the Che Guevara Study Center in Havana, which houses documents and other items related to the rebel leader.<\/p>\n<p>Camilo Guevara March had a generally low public profile, although he sometimes appeared at events honoring his father and publicly opposed the use of Che Guevara&#8217;s image in marketing campaigns.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is with profound pain that we say goodbye to Camilo, son of Che and promoter of his ideas,\u201d President Miguel D\u00edaz-Canel wrote on his Twitter account.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by a daughter, Camila, from his marriage to the late singer Suyl\u00e9n Milan\u00e9s, daughter of singer Pablo Milan\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h3>The Bolivian soldier who shot &#8220;Che&#8221; Guevara<\/h3>\n<p>On March 10, Mario Ter\u00e1n, a Bolivian sergeant who became known for having executed the legendary guerrilla Ernesto &#8220;Che&#8221; Guevara in October 1967, at the age of 80 after a long illness, information close to the military.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was evicted and we accompanied him in his last hours. We had a good relationship, he was an official responsible who carried out a higher order, but he suffered with a low profile,\u201d said retired General Gary Prado, who commanded the platoon that captured Guevara alive in the jungle of southeastern Bolivia after nine months of guerrilla actions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He simply fulfilled his duty as a non-commissioned officer in the army,&#8221; Prado told Compa\u00f1era radio.<\/p>\n<p>Prado is one of the few survivors of that fight against the guerrillas that appeared nine months, but marked the history of this country and the continent and elevated Guevara.<\/p>\n<p>Ter\u00e1n will die in the eastern region of Santa Cruz, where he will be veiled. He is survived by his wife and his two children.<\/p>\n<p>The soldier told journalists years later the moments before the execution: \u201cIt was the worst moment of my life. I saw &#8216;Che&#8217; big, very big, huge. His eyes shone brightly. I felt him on top of me and when he stared at me, he made me dizzy. I thought that with a quick movement &#8220;Che&#8221; could take my weapon. &#8216;Be calm,&#8217; he told me, &#8216;and aim well! He is going to kill a man!
