Because Hollywood star Brad Pitt, who many have already described as a work of art, has gone under the sculptors. Together with musician Nick Cave and artist Thomas Houseago, Pitt is now presenting his works to the world public in Tampere, Finland. \/ Sculptor Brad Pitt: First exhibition in Finland<\/p>\n
Nine works by Pitt are on display in the \u201cWe\u201d exhibition. These include a structure cast in silicone in the shape of a house that bullets are shot at, or his first sculpture: “House A Go Go” (2017). The miniature house made of tree bark is only held together makeshift with adhesive tape.<\/p>\n
The sculpture \u201cAiming at you I saw me but it was too late this time\u201d from 2020 is completely different. It depicts a shootout between eight different human figures. Another sculpture is a coffin-shaped bronze from which limbs, especially hands and shoes, are carved.<\/p>\n
The actor says he found his way into art following his heartbreaking divorce from Angelina Jolie. He found a companion in his colleague Leonardo di Caprio. During the filming of Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, they “met thanks to our love of pottery.”<\/p>\n
According to “TheArtNewspaper”, he says about his art: “For me it’s about self-reflection. It arose from the realization of what I call a ‘radical inventory of the self’. I’m going to be really brutally honest with myself and be considerate of those I may have hurt and the moments when I was just plain wrong.”<\/p>\n
However, fans do not have to worry about his new job. Pitt will continue to be true to acting.<\/p>\n
