At 04:30, another 4.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded, the epicenter of which was the \u00c7ilimli district of D\u00fczce.<\/p>\n<p>The D\u00fczce G\u00f6lyaka-centered earthquake was felt in a wide area as far as Istanbul, Bolu, Sakarya, Ankara, Kocaeli, K\u00fctahya, Bilecik, Bursa, Zonguldak, Karab\u00fck, Bart\u0131n and \u0130zmir.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement made by AFAD at 09:00, after the 5.9 magnitude earthquake, 101 aftershocks occurred, the largest of which was 4.3. AFAD announced that as of 09:42, 37 people were injured in D\u00fczce, 4 in Bursa, 1 in Istanbul, 6 in Zonguldak, 1 in Sakarya and 1 in Bolu.<\/p>\n<p>Bolu Governor Erkan K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7 announced that 20 people were injured in the city after the earthquake.<\/p>\n<p>Interior Minister S\u00fcleyman Soylu said, \u201cOne of our injured people has a broken pelvis by jumping in Bolu. There is no danger to life, but the injured person in D\u00fczce is in danger of life. 50 people were injured, one seriously. 33 people have been discharged,\u201d he said. A 63-year-old woman in D\u00fczce suffered a heart attack and died after panicking during the earthquake.<\/p>\n<h3>Why was the electricity cut off during the earthquake?<\/h3>\n<p>In the statement made by AFAD on 05.04, \u201cEnergy cuts are applied in the region for control purposes. We ask our citizens not to panic,&#8221; the statement said.
