However, before Itai and Hadar Berdichevsky were killed by the intruders, the couple managed the seemingly unthinkable: the parents of twins hid their ten-month-old babies from the terrorists. Around 14 hours later, the small children were found unharmed by Israeli soldiers in a bomb shelter. Her parents died trying to fight off Hamas terrorists.
