Bafetimbi Gomis, who played for Galatasaray in the Super League for two different terms, has quit football.<\/p>\n
The 39-year-old French striker, who last played for Japanese representative Kawasaki Frontale, has ended his professional football career.<\/p>\n
Gomis, who started his career in 2004 with the Saint-Etienne team where he was trained in the youth academy, later played for Troyes, Olympique Lyon, Swansea City, Olympique Marseille, Galatasaray, Al-Hilal and Kawasaki Frontale.<\/p>\n
The French player, who won the Super League championship twice with the red-yellow jersey, also became the top scorer once.<\/p>\n
The French striker also scored 51 goals and made 9 assists in 86 matches with the Galatasaray jersey.<\/p>\n
Gomis scored 353 goals in 785 matches throughout his career.<\/p>\n
