Turkish police detained five members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in an operation yesterday.<\/h1>\n

PKK Terrorists have raised concerns in Turkey after a spite of attacks in recent months mainly in the east and southeast of the country. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The planned attack was uncovered as a result of joint efforts by the Istanbul Police Department’s Anti-Terrorism Unit and Intelligence Unit.<\/p>\n

The terrorists, three of whom received bomb training in PKK camps abroad, were caught at Istanbul’s Esenler bus station.<\/p>\n

Police seized sketches of the places where they planned to conduct the attacks and documents on the suspects.<\/p>\n

The terrorists, including one woman, were referred to an Istanbul courthouse in Besiktas after they gave statements at an Istanbul police station.<\/p>\n
