US President Donald Trump has reignited tensions in the region with a strong statement following Israel\u2019s strike on Iran\u2019s South Pars Natural Gas Field. As attacks on critical energy infrastructure intensify, Trump\u2019s remarks signaled not only a diplomatic stance but a direct military warning. His comments, particularly regarding the protection of Qatar\u2019s LNG facilities, underscored the growing risk of a wider regional conflict.<\/p>\n

Trump: \u201cThe US and Qatar had no prior knowledge\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Trump<\/a> emphasized that neither the United States nor Qatar had any prior knowledge of Israel\u2019s attack on the South Pars field. He stated that Iran had misinterpreted the situation, leading to what he described as an unjust response.<\/p>\n

Trump said:<\/p>\n

\u201cIsrael, driven by anger over what is happening in the Middle East, launched a strong attack on a major facility in Iran known as the South Pars Natural Gas Field. A relatively small part of the facility was hit. The United States knew nothing about this specific attack; and the State of Qatar had no involvement in any way, shape or form, nor did it have any knowledge of it. Unfortunately, Iran did not understand this and unfairly attacked part of Qatar\u2019s LNG facilities\u201d<\/p>\n

Direct threat to Iran<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Trump made it clear that any further attack on Qatar would trigger a powerful response. He warned that the entire South Pars facility could be targeted if Iran proceeds with another strike.<\/p>\n

He stated:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cUnless Iran foolishly decides to attack Qatar again, which is completely innocent in this matter, there will be no further Israeli attacks on this extremely important and valuable South Pars Field. However, if Iran does attack, the United States\u2014whether with or without Israel\u2019s help or approval\u2014will blow the entire South Pars Natural Gas Field off the map with a force and intensity never before seen. I do not want to authorize such destruction due to its long-term impact on Iran\u2019s future, but if Qatar\u2019s LNG is attacked again, I will not hesitate\u201d<\/p>\n
