US President Donald Trump used his White House address to send a new warning to Iran, saying American forces are close to completing their main military objectives. While claiming that the operation is nearing its end, Trump also made clear that more strikes are coming. His remarks signaled that Washington sees the current phase as unfinished and is preparing for another escalation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are on the way to completing all military targets\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Trump<\/a> said the United States had already achieved most of the goals set at the start of what he called \u201cOperation Epic Wrath.\u201d He stated that the campaign is moving toward its final stage but added that Iran will face a much harsher blow in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

He said:<\/p>\n

\u201cTonight, I want to state that we are close to completing the core strategic objectives in Iran. America is on the way to completing all of its military targets in a very short time, but in the next 2-3 weeks we will strike them very hard. With these attacks, we will send Iran back to the \u2018Stone Age\u2019 where they belong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very close to the end\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Trump also said the United States owes thanks to Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain, adding that Washington will continue to support those countries in defense matters.<\/p>\n

He described the operation as entering its final stretch and said, \u201cWe will finish this very quickly. We are very close to the end.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA regime change happened in Iran\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Trump argued that regime change had never been the formal goal of the United States, but claimed that the killing of key figures in Iran\u2019s leadership had effectively changed the country\u2019s ruling structure.<\/p>\n

He added that if no agreement is reached during this period, the United States will strike every power plant in Iran. At the same time, he said oil facilities would not be targeted for now because he wanted to give the Iranian people a chance.<\/p>\n

Message on the Strait of Hormuz<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Trump also said the United States does not need the oil that passes through the Strait of Hormuz. He argued that countries relying on that route should be the ones protecting it.<\/p>\n

He said:<\/p>\n

\u201cCountries that take oil through the Strait of Hormuz are responsible for protecting that passage. They should seize it and appreciate its value. They can do it easily.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump went further by calling on NATO countries to take control of the strait, saying they should have done so earlier and that the United States would help if necessary.
