Evolve Mixed Martial Arts founder and chairman Chatri Sityodtong states the company has seen a 30 percent year-on-year growth, and he wanted to thank his employees for their hard work and dedication. He splashed out a whopping $500,000 (392k GBP) to reward 100 employees with the five-star all-inclusive holiday to the paradise island. And this isn't the first time he has taken his workers for a treat. He calls the holidays a "normal part of Evolve culture" with the group enjoying previous holidays to luxurious destinations such as Bali, Krabi, Khao Lak and Bintan in Indonesia for the past five years. He said: "These rewards are a small token of my heartfelt gratitude to all of the phenomenal rockstars at Evolve MMA. "Every year, I take the entire team on an all-expenses-paid trip to a five-star luxury resort at a surprise destination." The company's support staff and world champion trainers joined members of Evolve's fight team, including ONE Women's Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee, on the expensive getaway. "Many of my staff would love to travel the world, but do not have the means to do so," he continued. "The vast majority of my team at Evolve come from humble backgrounds of poverty, tragedy, or adversity. For them, Evolve is the greatest opportunity to escape poverty and to achieve the life of their dreams. "The best deserve the best. It is only fair. We do our best to hire the best people in the world, giving out only one job offer for every 200 applicants. So they should be compensated as such. We work hard, and we play hard. "Evolve has the best team in the world. I am very confident in my team. I believe in them 100 percent." The entrepreneur said the holidays will continue for the foreseeable future but joked he has not yet planned 2017's spectacular just yet. He said: "The world is a big place! I don't know where our annual retreat will be held next year, but I hope to take them to another spectacular place."

Habertürk’ün haberine göre, Sityodtong, 100 çalışanının tamamını Maldivler’de 5 yıldızlı bir otelde tatile gönderdi. Bütün masrafları karşılayan patron, şirketin yıl içinde gösterdiği yüzde 30’luk büyümeye karşılık çalışanlarına teşekkür etmek istediğini söyledi.
Maldivler tatili için 400 bin pound harcayan patronun, daha önce benzer şekilde çalışanlarını Bali, Tayland ve Endonezya’ya gönderdiği belirtildi.
Bunun bir şirket geleneği olduğunu belirten Sityodtong, “Her yıl bütün çalışanlarımı sürpriz bir yere tatile göndererek onlara teşekkür ediyorum. Hepsi gezmeyi çok seven, mütevazı insanlar. Şirketimiz, çalışanlarının hayallerini gerçekleştirmesine önem veriyor.” ifadelerini kullandı.
Sityodtong, şirkette işe alım sürecinde oldukça sıkı çalıştıklarını ve bir pozisyon için ortalama 200 başvuru aldıklarını sözlerine ekledi.
