H\u00fcrriyet Gazetesi’nden al\u0131nan bilgiye g\u00f6re, gazetenin kurucusu Sedat Simavi’nin o\u011flu 85 ya\u015f\u0131ndaki Erol Simavi, Monako’da tedavi g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc hastanede ya\u015fl\u0131l\u0131\u011fa ba\u011fl\u0131 nedenlerle vefat etti.<\/p>\n

Erol Simavi Kimdir?<\/strong><\/p>\n

1930 y\u0131l\u0131nda do\u011fan Erol Simavi, 1949 y\u0131l\u0131nda I\u015f\u0131k Lisesi’ni bitirdi. Babas\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden (1953) sonra a\u011fabeyi Haldun Simavi ile H\u00fcrriyet Gazetesi’nin y\u00f6netimini \u00fcstlendi. 1971’de Haldun Simavi’nin Veb Ofset grubunu olu\u015fturarak ayr\u0131lmas\u0131ndan sonra gazetenin y\u00f6netimini t\u00fcm\u00fcyle alan Simavi, Kelebek, Hafta Sonu, TV’de 7 G\u00fcn, \u00c7ar\u015faf, Gong, G\u00f6steri gibi yay\u0131nlar\u0131n da kurucu sahibiydi.<\/p>\n

1993 y\u0131l\u0131nda H\u00fcrriyet’in y\u00fczde 25’lik hissesini Erol Aksoy’a satan Simavi, geri kalan hisseleri de 1994 y\u0131l\u0131nda Ayd\u0131n Do\u011fan’a satarak medya sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnden \u00e7ekildi.<\/p>\n
