Sonu\u00e7lar\u0131 “Antarctic Science” dergisinde yay\u0131mlanan ara\u015ft\u0131rmaya g\u00f6re, Hint Okyanusu’nun g\u00fcneyinde Fransa’ya ait Cochons Adas\u0131’nda ya\u015fayan d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en b\u00fcy\u00fck kral penguen kolonisinin n\u00fcfusu 1980’lerden bu yana y\u00fczde 88 oran\u0131nda azald\u0131.<\/p>\n

Adada 2015-2017 y\u0131llar\u0131nda havadan ve uydudan yap\u0131lan g\u00f6zlemlerde 60 bin penguen \u00e7iftinin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131 tespit edildi. 1980’lerde yap\u0131lan benzeri bir ara\u015ft\u0131rmada yakla\u015f\u0131k 500 bin penguen \u00e7iftine rastland\u0131\u011f\u0131 belirtildi.<\/p>\n

Ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar pop\u00fclasyondaki b\u00fcy\u00fck gerilemenin sebebinin bilinmedi\u011fini kaydetti.<\/p>\n

\u0130mparator penguenden sonra en iri c\u00fcsseli penguen t\u00fcr\u00fc olan kral penguen, Antartika’n\u0131n kuzeyindeki daha \u0131l\u0131man adalarda ya\u015f\u0131yor.<\/p>\n
