Dionisio, Cidde\u2019nin altyap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 iyile\u015ftirme plan\u0131n\u0131 desteklemek ve \u00f6nc\u00fc rol oynamaktan dolay\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck heyecan duyduklar\u0131n\u0131 ve bu sel kontrol ve at\u0131k su program\u0131 ile \u015fehirde ya\u015fayan yakla\u015f\u0131k 3.2 milyon ki\u015finin ya\u015fam kalitesinin iyile\u015ftirilmi\u015f olaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yledi.<\/p>\n<p>Proje dahilinde hem baraj hem di\u011fer sel kontrol bariyerleri, drenaj kanallar\u0131, sel sular\u0131 rezervuarlar\u0131 in\u015fa edilecek ve Cidde\u2019de en \u00e7ok sel problemiyle kar\u015f\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131ya kalan noktalardaki s\u0131k\u0131nt\u0131lar giderilecek. Bunun yan\u0131s\u0131ra geli\u015fmemi\u015f b\u00f6lgeler i\u00e7in kapsaml\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yap\u0131lacak, Cidde\u2019deki at\u0131k su problemini \u00e7\u00f6zmek i\u00e7in kapsaml\u0131 altyap\u0131 iyile\u015ftirilmeleri ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilecek ve Mekke i\u00e7in de afet idare merkezi kurulacak. Program safhalar halinde uygulamaya koyulacak ve sel kontrol k\u0131sm\u0131 2013\u2019e kadar tamamlanm\u0131\u015f olacak.<\/p>\n<p>Kas\u0131m 2009\u2019da Cidde\u2019de meydana gelen sel felaketinde 120 ki\u015fi hayat\u0131n\u0131 kaybetmi\u015f, 10 bin civar\u0131nda insan evsiz kalm\u0131\u015f ve binlerce ev, bina ve ara\u00e7 tahrip olmu\u015ftu.
