DIYARBAKIR –Turkish policemen have seized 60 kg of C4 explosive in the southeastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir on Thursday night.

According the information which has been taken by the security forces, a suspicious white car was stopped and searched by the Diyarbakir police.

Policemen then found nearly 60 kg of C4 explosives, which were been moved to an unknown western city.

Security officers blocked the motorway linking Diyarbakir with Elazig for nearly 2 hours to conduct a search of the area.

After the completion of the operation the motorway was re-opened to traffic.
