Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that diplomatic efforts to end the conflict with Russia are gaining momentum. In a social media post, Zelensky confirmed that negotiations will be held tomorrow in Türkiye and emphasized that preparations are underway to move the peace talks into a more intensive phase.
Talks in Spain and Expectations
Zelensky noted that he will hold meetings in Spain and announced that he will meet with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. “We are working to ensure that the meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez brings agreements that will give us more strength,” he said.
Preparations for Negotiations in Türkiye
Highlighting their efforts to accelerate diplomatic initiatives for ending the Russia-Ukraine war, Zelensky said, “There will be talks in Türkiye tomorrow. We are preparing to intensify the negotiations and are working on solutions that we will present to our allies. Bringing the end of the war closer with all our strength is Ukraine’s number one priority.”
Focus on Prisoner Exchange
Zelensky added that efforts are also underway to revive prisoner exchanges and other related processes.
