It is expected that the sudden meeting is on the matter of the Israeli raid on the Flotilla of ships in which Erdoğan accused Israel of state terrorism.

The Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was in Chile when the news broke out of the raid on the aid ships by Israel’s Defence Forces.

Erdoğan had cut short his planned tour of Latin America and flew back to Turkey early Tuesday morning where he had already said while leaving Chile that he will organise an emergency meeting with the write authorities.

Erdoğan who spoke from Chile’s international airport to Turkish and world press had criticised Israel’s actions and accused the country of State Terrorism.

It is expected for Obama to have a meeting with Erdoğan over the phone and the hot-point will be Turkey’s actions and stance towards Israel.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on Monday had requested the immediate return of the injured and Turkish citizens back to Turkey.
