Czechsia: The teacher told the students lies about the war in Ukraine

The Czechwoman Martina B. explained to the 8th grade pupils at the Na Dlouhém Lánu Elementary School manipulated and false information about the Russian aggression in Ukraine, the List Reports said.

Among other things, the teacher claimed that “nothing is happening” in the Ukrainian metropolis, which is facing shelling, and the public Czech television, which mediates the footage from the place, “is linked to billionaire Soros.” The students secretly filmed the 18-minute explanation.

After watching it, the school principal Renata Riedlová decided to withdraw the teacher from the class, she ordered an obstacle on the part of the employer and she wants to end her employment. The director’s decision was supported by the city administration. The Minister of Education Petr Gazdík (STAN) also praised the director’s quick and strong response.

“The teacher should honor the facts, not make propaganda contrary to the obvious facts. Yes, everyone has the right to an opinion, but not to a lie, “Gazdík wrote for the News List.

His case was handled by his ministry at the beginning of the Russian aggression. At that time, he sent out instructions to schools on how to talk to children about the conflict. But not everyone follows that. “That is why I appreciate the approach of the school principal, who immediately put the teacher in hindrance and terminated her employment,” Gazdík added.

“I was shocked by the content of the recording, I could not imagine at all that such an educated person could give such a lecture full of hatred and untruth in front of children,” the director of the Prague school told the server.

The Czech woman defends herself by presenting “only verified and historically documented facts”. He sees his withdrawal as “a denial of democratic principles and freedoms” and an “unprecedented restriction of word and opinion”.

According to one pupil, the Czech woman was downplaying the Russian aggression when a girl who had fled Ukraine and partially spoke Czech was sitting on the first bench.
