
Sources of the NATO informed of death of four military service members without acknowledging their nationality in eastern afghan region.
The brief information noted that three of them were killed by bombs attacks and another one in combats with rebel forces in some of regions in Afghanistan that were not even defined. The international coalition says three NATO troops died from an improvised roadside bomb and a fourth soldier was killed in a separate insurgent attack.
Nato Members Death Toll lower this year
So far the death toll of NATO soldiers in Afghanistan reached 289 which number is lower than 2009 and 2010, according to the icasualties website.
The same source specified that the US added up 203, an unprecedented figure taking into account the first six months of 2011.
Rebels media well-known in Kabul reported combats in Zhini, Baldak, Nawzad y Mizara where two armoured vehicles of the occupying forces were destroyed with an unlimited number of victims.
Nato in Afganistan : New Strategies
They added the Nato troops are now using new strategies which priority is bombing mainly over the rural areas and with the target of “devastated land”.
In addition, official reports of Hamid Karzai government and the NATO itself recognized missing of a British soldier in Kandahar and two Australian soldiers seriously injured in eastern Afghanistan. The IED, used in making suicide vests and roadside bombs, has proved a challenge for Afghan and NATO-led forces in the insurgency-hit country.
