After US President Joe Biden fell on stage, former US President Donald Trump commented on the incident – with surprisingly mild words. “I hope he didn’t hurt himself,” he said at a performance in Iowa when asked about Biden’s fall.
Trump, who wants to run for president again, referred to a similar incident when he left the stage after a speech in June 2020, looking very uncertain. “And it was cold and rainy and windy and the ramp was as slippery as an ice rink.”
In order to avoid a fall, he walked very carefully: “You have to be careful, even if you have to tiptoe down a ramp.”
