“Hope he didn’t hurt himself” – Trump reacts to Biden fall
After a speech, US President Biden fell on the stage. Now his competitor is reacting with surprising words.
After US President Joe Biden fell on stage, former US President Donald Trump commented on the incident – with surprisingly mild words. “I hope he didn’t hurt himself,” he said at a performance in Iowa when asked about Biden’s fall.
Trump, who wants to run for president again, referred to a similar incident when he left the stage after a speech in June 2020, looking very uncertain. “And it was cold and rainy and windy and the ramp was as slippery as an ice rink.”
In order to avoid a fall, he walked very carefully: “You have to be careful, even if you have to tiptoe down a ramp.”
