London / NationalTurk – According to allsportsnews.us Manchester City and Chelsea are targeting to transfer Turkey anchor man Mehmet Topal. The 25-year-old Turkey international midfielder has sparkled in his first season at Valencia, where he was transferred in a 5M Euro move from Galatasaray Istanbul. Mehmet Topal had the chance to play in the Premiere League last season, as he was targeted by London side Everton. The succesful Turkish defensive midfielder has a 10M Euro buy-out clause in his contract with La Liga side Valencia, where he had played a total of 29 games last season.
Should Topal were a Chelsea or City jersey, he will be the second Turkish footballer playing currently in the Barclays Premiere League. Tuncay Sanli is playing currently for Fulham.
