Dozens of visitors to the Slagharen amusement park have been stuck in an attraction for an hour this afternoon.
Due to a technical malfunction of the 32-meter high The Eagle, the 54 occupants were stuck about 10 meters above the ground, RTV Oost reports. The fire brigade was able to free the people from the attraction with a cherry picker.
The cause of the malfunction is not yet known, but the amusement park will investigate. As far as is known, no one was injured. The Eagle is out of service for the time being.
