This is probably the murder weapon. The motive for the act and the circumstances were still the subject of ongoing investigations Tuesday morning. The police were made aware of the crime by a passer-by who reported the young man’s suicide on Monday evening. The body of the 17-year-old was then found in the Highline 179 parking lot. The autopsy of the two dead will be carried out on Tuesday, it said.
