Batman Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan stated the Batman shooting massacre  in Denver Colorado theatre is a senseless tragedy and devastating.

Colorado / NationalTurk – Christopher Nolan expressed his sorrow in a released statement on Friday night in New York, USA, about the shooting tragedy at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado.

The assault came from a gunman who opened fire on an audience watching a midnight screening of the highly anticipated Batman ‘ The Dark Knight Rises’ movie, the third installment of Nolan’s Batman dynasty. The gunman killed 12 and injured 59.

Christopher Nolan called movies a great American art form and stated watching one is an important and joyful pastime. Nolan called the theater his home, and expressed the fact that someone would commit an act of violence at such level against innocent people there is savage and ‘devastating.’
