Carnival: Gaviões da Fiel will have satire with “Bolsonaro gay” in parade

With the theme “Enough!”, the school will address the inequalities that exist in the country; hairdresser Neandro Ferreira will play the role of the president

Gaviões da Fiel will bring to the avenue next Saturday (22/4) themes such as the fight against racism, fascism and oppression. One of the wings of the samba school, the Governors and Generals, will present a satirical version of the current president of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), as a homosexual.

The representation will be made by hairdresser Neandro Ferreira, 55, accompanied by a dancer who will assume the role of the first lady, Michelle. To G1, he told that he will interpret Bolsonaro in a “very gay, very bichíssima, giving a lot of looks”.

“I only accepted to parade because the theme of the school represents me a lot, it’s ‘enough’. I’m super excited and that attracted me. I am very engaged in the anti-fascist cause and the fact that the plot is against Bolsonaro and for the end of machismo in our society has everything to do with me,” he said.

This year, Gaviões will bring as a synopsis the theme “Enough!” which, according to the association, will address the country’s inequalities. One of the composers of the samba-enredo is the actor Marcelo Adnet. The lyrics recall episodes of racism and other human rights violations.
