Cartel Leader killed in Mexican raid – Video

drug_cartel_raid_mexicoThe Mexican Navy were involved in a raid that saw one of the top three drug cartel leaders in Mexico killed in a raid in Cuernavaca.

There was a ferocious gun fight between the Navy and the dozens of drug traffickers in which the Mexican Navy was victorious.

The Target of the raid was Arturo Beltran Leyva who was the leader of one of the biggest Drug Cartels in Mexico and was found dead amongst the drug traffickers.

President Felipe Calderon hailed the raid as an enormous victory in the war on drugs, and the US Government was quick to bestow praise to their southern neighbor.

14,000 people have died since 2006 from all backgrounds and ways of life, linked to the drug war in Mexico.

The drug Cartels are very aggressive and out of controle which is why such violent methods had to be used to battle this situation.

President Felipe Calderon has been extremely aggressive in combating these criminals, and has achieved strong victories.

There has been much praise from the U.S. and other nations for the success of recent drug raids in Mexico which continues to plague many regions of the country.

Though this issue looks as if it is a national issue, the Mexican war on drugs has affected many other countries in particularly North America, Caribbean, South America.

The raids have been seen as a stark message to those criminals that they are not invincible and that the law will eventually catch up with them with terrible implications.
