The 24th International Fair in El Salvador turned Cuba into an opportunity to strengthen trade links and show the benefits of Cuban products and services.
Havana, Cuba; Nov 19 / NationalTurk – A total of 27 countries attended the meeting held on November 13-18 in the International Centers for Fairs and Conventions in San Salvador.
Marel Horta, legal director of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, stated that for the first time, many Cuban business people participated in an event of this kind in this Central American country.
According to Marel Horta, we tried to mix all sectors and most representative products, and in this context, referred to the issue of exports of services and technological packages that Cuban companies such as DATYS develope.
The representative of the Chamber of Commerce stated that the mission of the Cuban delegation was beneficial, as it managed to make contact with Salvadoran businessmen interested in Cuban products.
The Cuban delegation comprised 10 leading companies in areas such as biotechnology, nuclear energy, advanced technology and informatics, cigars, among others.
Businessmen and officials from both countries held, as part of the 24th International Fair in El Salvador, a business round to explore new opportunities and strengthen the existing ones.
