New Delhi, Feb 22/Nationalturk – The death toll in yesterday’s blasts in India’s southern city of Hyderabad has risen to 11 while India’s arch rival, Pakistan has strongly condemned the explosions.

“The twin blasts took place in busy locality of Dilsukhnagar area of Hyderabad City at a local bus stop and a canteen, which were about 150 mtrs from each other at 6.58 pm (IST) and 7.01 pm (IST) respectively. 16 persons died and 117 were injured in the explosions,” India’s Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde told parliament today.

Meanwhile, a top police official of Hyderabad said police and other investigative agencies have collected samples from the blast sites and sent them for detailed analysis.

“It was a high-grade explosion but the quantity of explosive used was low. Police is re examining video footage recorded on closed-circuit cameras, installed at the Dilsukhnagar bus stand junction (Rajiv Chowk) and also at one of the bus shelters in the vicinity,” he said.
